Yes I know it's the Mail, however this is a positive story in that the girl was saved from FM and her mother stood up for her.
Shame the Father has not been prosecuted for arranging it and for his appalling behaviour toward his wife.
I have had some dealings with the Forced Marriage Unit and they do an excellent job and should be congratulated for their work on this.
Hopefully other Mothers/ women/girls from communities where FM is still practised will feel able to get help.
