We keep being told by progressives that the next generation of young people will be so much less sexist, racist, intolerant and phobic and this generational shift will solve all inequality. The evidence doesn't bear it out. I actually feel that abuse, child neglect and sexual violence is increasing massively but unfortunately no stats will bear me out on this because the data is so poor and reporting so unreliable.
