Can't escape it!!!!!!

I'm in an art deco Facebook group as I like the style and buildings etc, however more recently people have been posting photos of half naked women 🙄. I've ignored it until today when there was a photo of a woman bottomless,just her top half was covered (just). I've put a comment on saying I'm here for the buildings, furniture etc not naked women. Don't know the point of this really, just venting that you can't get away from women's bodies on show especially in a group that you'd think would be safe from all this crap.

I follow a couple of fashion groups and recently ones been infiltrated by a new poster who exclusively posts The Princess of Wales legs and now crotch. Men are grim.

It's women who are mostly posting these pictures, they see them as empowered for showing off most of their bodies, and I've been called a prude! Funny I don't see any semi naked men on these posts! I'm leaving the group as with health issues I can't be arsed with the hassle

If they want to post ‘empowering’ shots, they should go and join a group for that purpose.

I would tell the group admins that I am leaving because of these posts. If they don’t want to do anything about that, that’s their choice. But they can’t complain when their group starts being about art deco buildings and is just another weird sex-related social media group.

Their own bodies, not art deco pictures? How odd.

Complain to admin - that should be against group rules if it's a group with a particular topic like that.

No not their own bodies, photos of women in the 1920s in a state of undress. I don't mind one or two I can ignore, as well as plenty of sculptures of women with their boobs on show which I realise was a thing back then, just seems now it's every other post, sigh
