I'm considering booking dd and I seats for this when it comes to our local theatre. Has anyone been to see it?

Going with the Feminism Chat board as its obviously a show designed to champion women so figured if anyone was seeing it, they may also frequent this board.

I hadn’t heard of it but I like the sound of this!

I really must check this board more often. Yes I took my 7 year old when it was on in Oxford. Very good. I still do the gertie swimming song in the kitchen while cooking.

Hopefully you enjoyed it!

Yes saw it at Salford a few weeks ago, it's very good. Very bright and colourful and is very pro women but not overtly so that it prevented men in the audience. There were a few but probably 99% females. I watched with my female friends

We have the book, I didn’t realise this was in the theatre

I took DD to see it at the Edinburgh Fringe a couple of years ago (she would have been 8). We both loved it.

DH saw it a couple of years ago when he accompanied a school trip of secondary students. He thought it was excellent and would happily watch it again.

Interesting fact: when I saw it in 2022 a lot of the cast were the original queens from Six. The soundtrack is on spotify I believe (I bought it off Amazon).
