Just listening to the Newsagents podcast where Olivia Coleman is talking about Tender-an
organisation committed to providing education about healthy relationships in schools and work places. It sounds very interesting and impressive and so very needed. One thing she said made me wonder though. She was talking about toxic masculinity and Andrew Tate and similar "role models". Then she talked about Harry Styles and using him as an example of how gentleness can be hot and sexy too. I agree of course, although I am too old to fancy Harry Styles! But isn't it dangerous to suggest to young women that gentle-seeming men are less likely to be abusive than other men? I remember a time when some men called themselves feminists to get women to lower their barriers...
