My sibling knew this lovely woman.

He says she ‘attacked him’.

I’m not sure when that became a euphemism for ‘she fought hard for her life’…

And apparently he found recounting her murder ‘extremely distressing’ and ‘wept throughout’.

I’d posit the notion he didn’t cry for her.

No word of the chap on the door her family got and their distress and tears.

Another life taken.

I was lucky enough to survive. Being beaten to within an inch is bad enough but at least I was left breathing. Just.

He couldn’t even bring himself to let her live.

And yet he snivels and is ‘distressed’ recounting what he did.

He is a pathetic and sorry excuse for a human.

May she - and those who loved her - find peace.

May he never know it again.
