Older women's co-housing

Anyone else reading this today? Omits some of the gritty detail, like costs, but really positive anyway. Maybe one day the UK's terrible housing situation will improve.
Co-housing

There are lots of groups of various kinds of co-living - both already set up and setting up - all over the country, mostly in cheaper areas because getting land is often the hardest part. The UK Cohousing Network and Diggers and Dreamers websites list all kinds of options.

Every so often I'm inspired to get a mate and rebrand and repackage bits and pieces of our heritage with a view to cashing in on it by convincing some well-to-do British people that our 'product' is entirely innovative and a 'reimagining' of life as we know it.

Almshouses are an old fashioned model which are thriving today. They are very like this housing model but the accommodation is owned by a charity and available to people in need. This is usually retired people and predominantly women. Each person/couple has their own cottage/flat and there is usually a communal lounge area and garden.
