Anyone seen these ads?

I came across them first in a marketing forum but they are now on Insta. A magic drink to solve our period problems apparently... yay why didn't Coca Cola think of that!

Designed to promote outrage at what women have to deal with apparently but really just patronising.

Oh and the full ad is for "people with periods."

This from their website:
"Now, theblood and others are looking into menstrual blood not just as an alternative to blood, offering menstruators a regular, non-invasive source of bodily fluid, but also as something that can provide more – more insights into women and the diseases that affect only women. "

Bit of a mix of both PC and terfy language. In all fairness at first I expected it to be a bit "aren't periods terrible, BUY MY PRODUCT" but it looks like they are thinking about underdiagnosis of conditions like endometriosis etc. I have no idea if the science involved (including using menstrual blood as a diagnostic tool) is at all valid or a bit of a fad/quackery though. But on the surface I don't think it's bad...

I agree it's a bit half and half. Like trying to appease everyone.

I originally saw it on a marketing forum and there was a lot of defence of the "people with periods" that got my back up - women bending over to explain to each other why this phrase is used 🤦🏻‍♀️ but I agree they seem to be bending both ways!
