I've not caught up with it yet but have seen all the twitter about the yawning and eye rolling when a women spoke to say she thought she might be xy (she has 2 children) and then used suicide in trans as part of her argument against sex matters. I watched her speech it was awful.

I'm still watching it very slowly. Some very well made points about the importance of biological sex. I think a lot of the problem is that trans used to be transsexual and not just feeling like you're the opposite sex. Also the trans community are suffering from the effects of TRA and MRA organisations.

I'm actually 2,5 hours in and I'm so sick of this nonsense. The people pro clarifying the EA have all good arguments and examples of why it needs to be clarified.

The people against are all about transwomen are women and transpeople are discriminated and painted as predators bla die bla bla. Not one good argument as to why a man, no matter his identity, should be able to perform an intimate medical procedure on a woman that asked for women only and why protecting vulnerable women is somehow a slant against transwomen.

It feels like usual sane people against a sort of religious dogma

Unfortunately nothing was clarified. They said in the debate that trans people can be denied entry to single sex spaces but I've seen lots of examples where the people complain to the police about discrimination. The worst one I saw was the one where the woman had moved the women only meetings to her own home and they were still trying to gain access via police complaint!
