NZ (and impacts men as well as women but demonstrates the attitude towards sexual assault here).

Have been trying to find the tribunal and court of appeal cases online but presuming suppressed. Scary that despite multiple complaints of inappropriate requests to undress, "examination" and penetration the result appears to be the Doctor was "vindicated"! Unclear if Doctor is still practicing at this time.

"In November 2020, the Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal determined that Dr Z would
not face any sanctions but found he had departed from professional standards during the Police
recruit medicals. Dr Z he appealed the findings of the Tribunal. That appeal was successful; a
March 2022 judgment of the High Court finding that the evidence before the Tribunal was
insufficient to support any of the charges to the required standard. In short, Dr Z was vindicated."

Also surprised at number of cases here for Medical Practitioners (especially as having worked in health sector many "retire" before things are escalated to Medical Council). The number relating to inappropriate relationships and sexual assault is ridiculous.
