It's no so much lack of regulation - he's in the Netherlands, where it is regulated (with only slightly different terms to here)

It's that the internet makes international sales possible, and he was it seems prepared to travel to donate abroad. Which of course in Europe is only a short train ride.

What a horrible man.

I hope he isn't carrying a genetic disorder. Do sperm banks test for genetic disorders?

Over 100 in the Netherlands. If all in the same area the risk of entering a relationship with a sibling increases. This is horrific. Imagine finding out you have 549 half siblings. Awful business.

He is not the only one, fertility Drs seem to specialise in prolific spent donation. 'Our Father' on Netflix is a good example.

This doesn't involve a fertility Dr but it describes the consequences for the child.

Another podcast about this was called the Immaculate Deception and focused on the children/women rather than the sperm donor, who like other cases was the person who ran the sperm bank / fertility clinic.
