I have just noticed that the article on bbc news about the Jailing of trans rapist Isla Bryson has been taken off the main uk page and is now only on the Scottish news. I know it is Scottish news but to me this is a pretty monumental decision that has been made. I wonder why they have buried it.

As mentioned trans or apparently-trans individuals are judged on a case-by-case basis on whether they go to a man or woman's prison. This has been the case for a long time and certainly isn't the first time a transwoman has been sent to a man's prison.

Why are any male offenders in female prisons? Policy to put some men in female estate was drawn up by lobby groups with absolutely no consideration of the impact these men's presences would have on female prisoners.

I wouldn’t say it’s really being ‘buried’ just because it’s no longer the top story. It’s been really prominent in the news and now it’s naturally slipping down a bit.

So @MargaritaPie now you have a dilemma. You have insisted for a long while that TWAW and we should believe people when they say they are. In fact you have condoned violence against women who refused to believe TWAW and that Self iD was wrong. So either you believe this man is a woman because he says he is, and therefore this violent male rapist belongs in womens prison, or you have to admit TW are not women therefore do not belong in womens spaces, self ID is a bad idea, and those women you vilified were right. Which is It?
