Jesus Christ what hope as women do we have of bringing men to justice for the various crimes they commit against us when this is going on??

Serial rapist cop pleads guilty to 49 offences including 24 counts of rape www.mirror.co.uk/news/breaking-serial-rapist-cop-pleads-28963902?utm_source=app

I see he worked for a time in the Parliamentary and Diplomatic Command - isn't that where Wayne Couzens worked?

AdamRyan · 16/01/2023 17:10

Hes another good reason why people bleating on about anonymity for alleged rapists can get to fuck.

Many of his victims came forward when he was named in the media for being on trial for rape

So much for Wayne Couzens being one bad apple in The Met, seems like there’s a whole bloody orchard!! 🤬

I must say this doesn't surprise me in the slightest and expect that the numbers are higher than any of us can imagine.

These types of men seek positions of power or perceived power for a reason. Hiding in plain sight is the last place people look.

I hope they start looking and with a fine tooth comb.

I’m starting to wonder whether men should be barred from the police altogether, as there seem to be so many “isolated bad apples”. Maybe there should be male police to provide muscle, but without powers of arrest and not allowed to work without female supervision, and female officers to make the decisions and be in a position of authority and trust.

We got an email from our command team urging us to whistle blow on anyone we feel uneasy about .

Those with dubious nick names have them for a reason!

I've seen more and more evidence within the job of lazy policing and a failure to protect women.

I have seriously pissed off an entire district command team this week because I have stuck my head above the parapet to protect a victim of stalking that was being failed at every turn .

I spent hours on the phone with her and if she'd told me what had happened a few years ago I wouldn't have believed it but now - I totally believed it and found the evidence of lazy , can't be arsed policing that is letting victims down so badly .

I blew the whistle . My name is mud with some now but my command team said they could not be prouder of me , but the real reward for me is that now a victim of stalking is likely to get the help and protection she deserves to have had from the beginning.

I'm so disheartened to see what is happening in a job I love and am deeply passionate about. I will continue to fight for my victims and I will continue to do my job with my head held high no matter who above me I piss off .

People might be interested in this story. There is also a link to the Mets "turnaround plan" with a consultation which I'm just filling in

My opinion is the "turnaround plan" is not specific enough

Fab. Thank you.

My partner is on borough too. She’s sickened by what’s coming out and yep, bas**d Dave had been known about for ages. Tis a failure of leadership and the tick box managers who allowed it to continue, for so long.

Is it just me, but the recent individuals who have come to light, all seem to come from DPS / Armed teams? If is, is it helping create them or an indicator of their personality?

Anyway, thank you…. Hope the few bad apples amongst the tens of thousands of great officers get rooted out sooner rather than later..
