Please may I ask you to watch a documentary on India's rife rape 'culture' . It is available on Amazon Prime and is a telling watch on the misogyny in India. It is focused on a 2012 case of a 23 year old woman gang raped in India who became International news. There needs to be awareness in the world of this second class treatment many Indian women face so the State can be taken into account. It's a huge shame to know that the State has banned this documentary but if you were to watch it, you probably won't be surprised.
It can be triggering, so please refrain if you are not able to.
Jyoti's parents' suffering should not go unnoticed.

Besides Amazon Prime, the only other place,I could see was Vimeo. There are bits and pieces on YouTube.

Is it happening to women in a particular caste, OP?

My take is that there seem to be so many horrific stories about girls in isolated rural areas and I wonder whether there is a conflict between different groups as the girls from the poorest areas try to access resources set up for them?

I may be totally wrong, btw
