Only watched the first bit and saw 1 woman (blackrod?) amonsgt a sea of official men. Might have changed over the days but certainly was a very male showing on day 1

@NumberTheory I think they make a perfectly valid point. We're forever pointing out "observations" of injustices when they just don't exist.

If anything, I guess we could question why we as women aren't doing more public service to be represented in such events? I don't think there's anything excluding us, unless I'm wrong?

I think we can sometimes look to blame others when we should look ourselves in the mirror.

There'll be good reasons (child care, maternity etc) but they are just that: good reasons. They don't mean the world is stacked against us or we're being treated unfairly.

The voice of reason has arrived!!

The Op mentioned the choristers. They are all boys, taken from Westminster Choir school, an all-boys school where the fees are heavily subsidised by Westminster Abbey.

I can't think of a good reason why girls should be excluded from this opportunity.
