Bad luck or age based misogyny?

I've had a recent spate of men I know quite well and for years trying to 'get one over in me' and rip me off. When I've pointed it out they've become aggressive and misogynistic. Is this just bad luck or because I'm now late 40s?
Wildly different men, but all previously friendly/professional and fair.
Anyone else?

Well probably a bit of both. Certainly many men seem unable to respect a woman, they merely sort of pretend to if they respect the man who she belongs to. Therefore they don't try to rip her off or her old man will have words.

To to get a run of guys all suddenly having a go at ripping you off seems a bit unlucky (unless you just came into cash and this has triggered them).
