Capital Radio

Driving back from the gym and capital breakfast show is on the radio. They are discussing a story in the news and talk about a woman giving birth. One presenter pipes up and says "let's face it, a man seeing his partner give birth says it's like watching your favourite pub be burned down"

Is it just me or is that massively mysoginistic, sexist and just completely inappropriate and offensive?

Its a pretty standard 'joke/banter' about childbirth, my husband had it a few times before our first child was born.i think you are overreacting a bit

It's horrible and also not even original.

Robbie Williams said it years ago in a tv interview.

Because banter is always acceptable 🙄
Do calm down, overreacting women Hmm

Of course it’s misogynistic and sexist. Anything that could possibly affect a man’s right to have sex is fodder for crap jokes.

lots of revolting lads-bantz are common - there is no reason at all we should put up with it.

It's really gross and really misogynistic - I couldn't have a child with someone who talked like that.

Not long after childbirth my ex’s local pub barred him. And started serving another bloke instead.
