Puberty is just around the corner for my eldest and I'm looking for recommendations.
I seem to remember reading a post awhile ago recopmmending a book about a girl getting her period and it being some sort of journey with her mother?
I can't seem to find it now.
Especially keen on recommendations for meaningful books about entering womanhood.

My daughter loved (and so did I) The Girl Guide by Marawa Ibrahim - very positive messages.

My mum's recently got my DD a book by Milli Hill all about periods, bodies, female sexual anatomy etc

My DD is a little young for it right now but I will give it to her when she's 8 or 9. I'd definitely recommend it!

I second The Girl Guide. I started by going round all of the local libraries, checking out their offerings. Some good, some not so good. Then I went to Waterstones and found the ideal book.

Thank you I've added Milli Hilli to my basket! Does anyone know which book I'm referring to in my OP? I think there may have been tent in the title. I wish I'd saved it to my wishlist when I saw it mentioned, it sounded great
