Well Malaysia has sharia law and that includes beating your wife. It's grim but not surprising.

I don't know why but the fact it is a woman saying this makes it even more depressing.

Women should ask her husband permission to speak..wtf is this shite. So fucking sad.

As Roarfeckinroarr has noted, this is considered acceptable in Sharia law. That doesn’t make it right, of course.
