Great speech by Lizzy on why Natalie Geisenberger of Germany was so amazing to win gold in the luge. How to have a baby, breastfeed and get back to training within a four year cycle is nothing short of outstanding, mentioned that whilst men become parents they don't have to put their bodies through such an arduous process.

So thanks Lizzy and well done Natalie

I didn't hear the speech but it's great to have think spoken about like this and the huge physical impact of childbirth on women's bodies acknowledged.

Thanks for highlighting. I'll look it up (and watch the luge!)

Women's bodies are incredible, such a mountain recovering from childbirth, breastfeeding and getting back to fitness. What an achievement winning gold in that short time.
