This is tragic.
Also in this short clip they refer to the men who kidnap but no reference to then men who visit these ‘brothels’ in the U.K.

Who fuels the demand? My ex husband, for one. On the surface, a decent family man, a doting father, a hard-working small business owner, do anything for anyone, always making people laugh, generous, blah de blah.
But. A narcissistic, self-entitled, cvnt who wants to have sex with 20 something, very slim women (one of whom was Romanian, although apparently 'independent', although would strangely travel around the UK often - a clear sign she is being controlled by a gang).
They are hidden in plain sight, these men.

I was doing some research on prostitution once and when I told men, friends of DH etc. lots of them told me stories about having used prostitutes. I was pretty shocked and surprised at how many and that I would never have known if I hadn't been researching this (and they clearly wanted to share...). It has definitely changed the way I feel about those men.

@Linguini
They're not going to tell you are they.
The prostitution industry in the UK rakes in more annual income than cinema does.
Well that’s a depressing stat.
Sometimes I wish I was attracted to women then I could ditch men.

I’m pretty horrified by some people I know and their attitude to going to Amsterdam for stags. So grim. Won’t call them friends as I’ve little time for them.

Yes i saw this, so tragic,, what got me though was the total lack of Police numbers/resources to crack down on it.
All very well having a Modern Slavery Bill but a bit useless if there is no enforcement.
I believe we need biometric ID cards in this country, would assist in illegal working fraud and slavery atm anyone can be whoever they want to be.
