US Schools Ignoring Rape Allegations Again

I hate that adults put it on girls to demand their rights when schools can't seem to do it for them. US federal laws demand that schools take any reported rape to law enforcement and that girls do not need to be in classroom with their abusers. I'm glad this got media attention locally, but it's just an another example, like the Loundoun school district in Virginia that covered up a rape, where the feelings of boys take precedence over the safety of girls. The
accused boy in this situation is still allowed to play on a school sports team and still attends classes in person. minnesota.cbslocal.com/2021/12/03/minneapolis-students-walk-out-over-high-schools-handling-of-sexual-assault-allegations/

Innocent until proven guilty. I’d imagine that’s why they won’t suspend him. I’m not sure I’d want guilty until proven innocent, to be honest, despite the ongoing issues with securing a conviction. The problem is nearly always lack of evidence.
