Investigation of sexual abuse by police officers, lack of vetting, toxic culture etc.
I think this is the link for it

I found out recently that an ex from many years ago has been imprisoned for Misconduct in Public Office for having an 11 year affair with a woman he first met when investigating a crime against her- he was a police officer.
So it seems they do throw the book at people sometimes.

I read a BBC article on this. Haven't listened to link though sorry.
The police are a disaster when it comes to sex offences including reports from female officers and the public.
Naturally the met are worst.
Not investigating
When investigated can take years
Outcome warning, training, worst case not allowed to work in police any more. Very rare to see treated as crime, charge etc.
Vetting improvements introduced years ago including serving police not done in large numbers.
More as well but it's obvious what their attitude to sex offences is.
They are not fit for purpose esp met.
