Wtaf. I feel like there are daily stories coming out regarding hiw awful the Met are towards women.

"A woman who was pictured being arrested at the Sarah Everard vigil has said "about 50" police officers have since contacted her via a dating app, leaving her "terrified".

Patsy Stevenson, 28, said the officers approached her on Tinder after she was handcuffed at the vigil on 13 March.

She said they knew she was "fearful of police" and had done it "for a reason"."

@CorrBlimeyGG

A woman tells you she's received threatening messages, and your first reaction is to cast doubt on her story. Are you suggesting we only believe some women?
I believe no one automatically. I wait for evidence before forming a conclusion. Expert witnesses ( which here means "anyone who is familiar with Tinder, myself included") have exposed some holes in her version of events. It is a fact that you can only message someone on Tinder if both parties have "liked" one another. So unless she has seen fifty profiles with uniform prominent in pictures and liked them all then they can't have used Tinder to contact her.

“50 police officers” becomes “about 50 police officers and security guards (!)”. Never happened. Security guards. 🙄
