Sexism on the RAC website

I've just looked at a used car review on the RAC website. Under the 'What To Look For' section it says this:

"... And check for scrapes on the alloy wheels caused by distracted mums not paying attention properly when parking."

www.rac.co.uk/drive/car-reviews/citroen/c3/c3-2013-2016/

Not sure what to do about it. Shall I email them or can someone help with making this public before they quietly take it down?

I've just emailed them on the contact form to ask them to amend the section Grin

Thanks for pointing it out!

Leave a comment at the bottom of the page.
Screenshot and post it on their Twitter feed or Facebook page?

On the plus side, the RAC do prioritise lone women when attending breakdowns, so not all bad!
But yes, absolutely write and complain about their sexist joke. I’m sure it was misplaced humour, rather than a genuine belief that women are crap drivers. The RAC offer car insurance- they must be aware that we make far fewer claims than men.

It's been changed on the website (reads parents rather than mums, which is still pretty discriminatory....) Smile All hail the power of Twitter!
