No matter how much we report them, they protect their ‘own’ in some sick ‘saving face’ way.
I'm sickened that female colleagues fear that they can't report their male colleagues for fear of having no back-up at their point of need.
So, from the sound of it, it's not as if police lack mechanisms for keeping each other in line, they're just choosing to exercise them in a way that encourages women to stay silent or leave and to embolden men to be unchallenged for misogyny and racism and retain their jobs.
