prolifewhistleblower.com/

Another day, another tool to harass women out of bodily autonomy. Any care to send them some "helpful", but fictional tips?

They are very religious I think in Texas maybe not all of it but certainly big parts
They will see it as a major sin
Not sure if its legal or not
But harassing women going through a hard time is hardly helping anyone .

I forgot to add, you'll need a VPN for the right IP address.

In regards to the legality, there is a new “heartbeat” bill that comes into place on September 1st. This tip line is about that, for reporting any who gets, aids, or provides, an abortion after about 6 weeks.
CaptSkippy · 25/08/2021 08:36

@aprilanne It's not just for reporting abortions in Texas, but all of the US.

I can understand there religious views but say if you find out your baby has 0 chance of a live birth why make people go through the experience to have no baby at the end surely they must understand that .and imagine being born and then being resented by your mother because she was forced to give birth to you
While I dont like the idea of abortion I believe its everyone's right to do what is right for them

Spudlet · 25/08/2021 09:07

I hope someone DDOS’s them. Surely someone will… I can’t see that staying functional for too long.

Gilead is alive and well, it would appear Angry

Ugh. Barbaric, I can't imagine how many women will suffer.

I hate it when these idiots hide behind religion too, my church interprets being pro life as enriching other people's lives and being pro the lives and happiness of other people, abortion is seen as a personal choice and they don't really comment on it.

The Handmaid’s Tale becomes closer to real life by the day.

And 6 weeks! Many women wouldn’t know they were pregnant until that had passed. Certainly less likely with an underage girl who had been abused for example.

EastWestWhosBest · 25/08/2021 18:20

And yes, religion plays a part, but that’s not my religion.
Some religions say you shouldn’t eat pork, but I’m not going to report people for having a bacon sandwich.

Nurse friend says you can’t have the procedure effectively much before 6 weeks because of size — I’m not in a medical field so have no idea if that’s always true. But why would a state even be fine with it before 6weeks but it’s a sin after that?

Jorriss · 25/08/2021 18:59

That's appalling.

You can have a medical abortion before 6 weeks but yes the surgical procedure has a higher failure rate that early I think. I had a surgical at about 5.5 weeks and that was the earliest they’d do and they had to confirm with the dr before they booked it that he was ok to do it that early.

The reason for the 6 week rule is the heartbeat - I can the law actually says once there’s a heartbeat, rather than specifically stating 6 weeks.

I like your thinking. At this rate it would be good for all men to be sterilized by default and they have to prove they are upstanding citiziens before they can get it undone. And health-insurance should no longer cover viagra.
I am so sick and tired of men's petty politics against women. They get to control our bodies, but we get to say nothing about theirs.

I was not born for men's benefit. I do not exist for their happiness. I exist for my own.
