Watched this with DD3 (14) last night. It is very good, ticks all the diversity boxes without making a big deal. Covers lots of the issues teenage girls face.

Really pleased to see films like this being made.

I enjoyed it too, it had some good themes and the guy the main character got together with wasn't an arsehole!

My 14 year old daughter loved it and it inspired her to want to challenge sexism and sexual harassment in her own school.

I can recommend the book too.
My DS 13 read it in an evening having watched the film. Which is virtually unheard of.

I started a thread on this a while ago. www.mumsnet.com/Talk/womens_rights/4184180-Moxie-good-film-for-young-feminist-girls?msgid=105372950

There were some really good comments and actually I hadn't noticed a lot of the stereotypes that some of the posters pointed out.

I haven't heard of this. Which platform did you watch it on?

@WisestIsShe it is on Netflix
@FemaleAndLearning I did a search before starting this and nothing came up.

French that is strange. I found it by doing a search on whole site using Moxie.

Might watch it again with my girls.
