This is just horrific
news.sky.com/story/treated-worse-than-an-animal-women-and-girls-subjected-to-virginity-testing-at-unprecedented-rates-12347173

And ffs in this day and age your hymen often breaks for other reasons than sex. It is not a test of your virginity. How is this shit legal?

This is horrific, I had no idea this was legal here, how could the police say no crime had been committed? It was sexual assault, she was crying and asking him not to do it - or do doctors not need consent now?

Yet another abuse of vulnerable women with nobody to speak up for them.

Just watched a report on this on sky news. Shocking, I had no idea this went on.

How is this even legal? Want to know if a woman is a virgin? Ask her.

Horrific example of sex-based violence. Why does no one ever demand proof that the groom is a virgin?

Please check out the Petitions Noticeboard to sign a petition banning virginity tests.

Just noting that this is also discussed on this thread: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/feminism/4286575-Can-t-believe-this-is-legal-TW-sexual-assault
