I agree too,, this happens far too much and if you even hint a man could do this its all outrage at "misandry"
How are women meant to protect themselves from men like this? They don't wear a sign. Clever, charming and manipulative, by the time the woman realises who she's had children with its too late.

I don't know, Quentin. I think there are warning signs, at least fairly often. Both in the early stages of a relationship and when an abuser is escalating.

We need to teach men that people are not commodities to be used as they see fit, as revenge against other people.
I do feel that the sex trade feeds this sense of entitlement in some men.

Do you have a link to a report? Google only shows a man who murdered both his daughters to spite their mother.

I was horrified by this news story. The poor mother, I cannot imagine what she must be going through.

I was also very upset by the news report from Russia about a Clarins sales assistant who threw a friend's toddler daughter to her death out of a window because she was jealous of her. 17 years in a penal colony seems insufficient, although I doubt she will survive the sentence.

There are plenty of instances of people of both sexes committing these kinds of murders. The most distressing example that comes to my mind is that recorded, pretty much in real time, in the devestating film Dear Zachary.

Dear Zachary is definitely not a film to watch when feeling fragile. It is a remarkable film though, showing how a resilient, determined group of friends and family do their very best to protect an innocent child from a monster.

The film details the family's struggle and how they go from bereaved, grieving parents and become passionate activists for child protection and against people charged with murder from being released on bail.

It is available on youtube if anyone is feeling sufficiently robust to watch it.

What an evil evil man. The only positive thing here is that the media is not referring to him as a good father and that people are up in arms. We need to stop these evil men before another mother or another child is hurt

It’s true there was a mother who poisoned her daughter and herself to hurt her husband in Cataluña. Probably not on the news because pending trial as she survived.
It’s a sorrowful state of affairs when children are weaponised like this.
