Books on female child abuse from Mothers

This book honestly changed my life and I wanted to share it. This book gives information as well as personal stories of women who were abused by their mothers. A really eye opening book and truthful depiction of life as an abused child! Really recommend for child abuse survivors and for those who work with vulnerable young women.

I have this one, as I am interested in the dynamics of relationships and estrangements, especially with the mother as the main reason for adult children to estrange.
Others you might be interested in, if you haven't read them already:
Shadow Daughter by Harriet Brown
Mean Mothers: Unloved Daughters and the Legacy of Hurt by Peg Streep
But It's Your Family...Cutting Ties With Toxic Family Members and Loving Yourself In The Aftermath by Dr Sherrie Campbell
I'm really glad you've found a book which has helped you so much, but I'm sorry you needed it. The Sherrie Campbell is my favourite of the three I mentioned here.
