oh waterhorse im sure they were fine.i think your feeling guilty though because you didnt mention the bump.are you worried you might get in trouble at work?is that why you are so anxious?
it sounds like a genuine accident and tbh i probably wouldnt have even thought about mentioning it as it was probably so insignificant.please try not to worry.

I am worried i have hurt the person she has bad leg anyway) and someone will know it was my fault and i'll get in trouble.
Because the person is mute i dont know if it hurt them or not but the person was fairly subdued
I didnt mention it because it seemed insignificant but later on i thought i should have.

can you talk to your supervisor in the morning and explain what has happened.she/he will appreciate your honesty and you can check on the patient in question aswell.
i think you need to try and get some rest or you will be too tired to be able to sort this head on otherwise.i can understand why you are worried though with it being a new job and everything. x

My superviser is the relative of the person, i just cant ,too scared.
Thanks for talking though

oh ok that is difficult then.can you check on the patient tomorrow and see for yourself that everything is alright.it will probably be that everything is fine and you are worrying about nothing.but you are worried because you are new and i can completely understand that.
get some sleep and see how things are tomorrow ok x

Just go into work and say I am really sorry but i forgot to document/mention banging persons foot of door frame before i finished shift.

We all make mistakes, we are human, doesnt feel great if someone gets hurt but it was an accident.

Dont understand how valium is going to stop you from feeling bad though.

waterhorse · 22/08/2008 00:29

I have been hysterical, felt like i was going to die, flesh crawling ,shaking, crying, clawing at my skin so i thought anything was better than that louii.

Im not in for a few days now, hope your right CVQ.

diazepam isn't going to help make her feel better, except in that it can help her control a panic attack and, as a sedative, promotes sleep.
