This device has popped up in my feed, not sure what to think I can't find many reviews and not sure if the ones I have read are non biased.

It seems a headseat with pads on the forehead, to be worn daily for 30 minutes, activated via a phone app to deliver a very mild electric current.
It's not cheap- £400 for the kit.
Is this a scam? Does it work?

I used it to wean myself off of antidepressants (which I have been on my entire adult life and have failed to withdraw from numerous times). I did the headset but also some of the behaviour therapy app that it comes with (this bit is optional).

I found it worked really well. I was very surprised by how I suddenly started processing some traumatic things that had happened to me. Things that I didn’t think I could ever process and would feel/think the same way about forever. Suddenly, I had insights and resolved feelings that I just wasn’t able to have previously, without any effort on my part.

I used it for a few months and now it’s sat in the back of my cupboard in case it is needed again in future. I started by renting my headset, then switched to buying it - you are given the option to switch to purchasing the headset after a few months, with the rental amount deducted.

downsides - I’ve seen a few posts from people whose headsets have broken - it looks as if the link between the headband and contact points can be a bit week. The company does replace broken headsets though.

I’ve also seen some people with skin damage or hair loss where the pads have been in contact with their skin. I’m not sure if they were using the recommended pads or not.

Of you purchase the headset, the pad refills are expensive. If you rent, they are free.

I think I'm going to stop using it. I never expected that Flow would make me worse but it seems that it almost certainly has.
I've been using it for almost seven weeks. You gradually use it less (as instructed) and 3 weeks ago my Mirtazapine dose was increased as things had got very very bad. I saw a quick improvement, which would noticeably reverse when I used Flow again. I've been in practically a mental breakdown since late last year and was in such a bad way that I had to go for very long walks every day just to stop myself banging my head against the wall.
Now I do not feel the need to go for walks and the result of this is weight gain.
Unfortunately I'm still struggling to go outside because I just do not like the world. Even on sunny days. I live in a large city so little access to green spaces. I'm seeing a psychiatrist in seven days.
I struggle terribly in winter and don't know how I got through the last one. I'm already dreading the next one.

Please review the Facebook page. It features genuine users who have benefited from the service, although some individuals have reported that it was not effective for them and have opted to sell their units second-hand. From my personal experience, I can attest that it has significantly improved my situation, comparable to SSRIs but without any adverse effects. I encourage you to examine the latest scientific study that I shared earlier.
