Can’t take much more of this

I’m a single mum of two teens and I work from home. Lockdown has been a total nightmare, my usually happy, easy going daughter has turned into a person I don’t recognise at times. The arguments are awful, my son is controlling and difficult, I have nobody to turn to. Both my children are with me 24/7. My parents are both passed away and I have no other family. The news regarding the lifting of lockdown never gets any better.
I’m trying to stay positive and I know there are people much worse off than me but I’m getting to the point where I dread waking up now.
I genuinely don’t think I want to live anymore.

Hello OP, we are really sorry to hear you are feeling this way.

We hope you don't mind, but when these threads are flagged up to us we usually add a link to our Mental Health resources. You can also go to the Samaritans website or email them on [email protected]. Support from other Mumsnetters is great and we really hope you will be able to take some comfort from your fellow posters, but as other MNers will tell you, it's really a good idea to seek RL help and support as well.

We also like to remind everyone that, although we're awed daily by the astonishing support our members give each other through life's trickier twists and turns, we'd always caution anyone never to give more of themselves to another poster, emotionally or financially, than they can afford to spare.

We're moving this to the Mental Health section shortly.
