Star you can't do it yourself. There's no reason why you should have to.

Definitely night now Grin

I agree very inappropriate games, very odd. I also agree it sounds as though you need some support to get through this difficult time. I recently had to go see my Dr for similar reasons, I was terrified and really didn't want to go and didn't think it would help (I didn't think anything would help). But just admitting you're stuck and talking about it is the first step to improving how you're feeling.
Hope you can get some rest.

Thanks everyone for your kind words, I need to try and go to bed now, my daughter might be home soon and I don’t want her to see me crying

If you can't sleep OP please ring Samaritans - is there any weekend emergency GP you can call tomorrow? Don't leave it any longer than you have to - get some professional help - I'm someone who has been in that dark place - there is a way out for you

CuriousMama · 16/12/2018 09:32

Morning Star. Hope you got some sleep?

Hi OP

We’re so sorry to hear that you’re feeling like this. We wanted to share Mind's information with you – it has practical tips on what you can do when you feel like this and where to get urgent help. Maybe take a look and see if there’s anything which might be helpful right now.

We’re very sorry, but we don’t allow posts like the one we have removed on Mumsnet (please don't worry though, the thread itself will be staying - it's just the post further down that has been removed).

Please do think about exploring some of the options in the link above. Samaritans are there for you too, 24/7, by emailing [email protected] or calling 116 123. You can also see the resources in our Mental Health webguide.

Very best wishes from all at MNHQ.

I thought @BestZebbie had brilliant advice, it will help you feel less paralysed.
How are you today, OP? Can you and DD go for a walk or a nice drink somewhere? If she’s not up for it could you go somewhere with a book?
