Fair enough Caulky. Sounds grim Sad

HellinaHandbasket · 19/02/2015 21:09

Not a fan of JD unfortunately. I like a good single malt. Going through a Macallan phase at the moment.

Sorry to hear it's all shit today Caulk. On the upside the day is nearly over.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 19/02/2015 21:13

Exactly. I would be in bed already if I hadn't spent most of the day there already.

I don't really like most Scotch. I did taste one once that I liked but it was about a hundred quid a bottle and I don't remember what it was. It's like champagne - I thought I didn't like that until someone gave me a glass of some special edition or other Bollinger I also can't afford, and I was like, "Ohhhh. Right. I get it now."

Ennn · 19/02/2015 21:21

Was urged to come along to an exciting evening at the MH drop-in this evening. Hmm

CaulkheadUpNorth · 19/02/2015 21:24

Would there have been a quiz? That usually happens at exciting evenings.

Quizzes were mentioned Hmm Also bingo, cards, and 80p cups of tea with free refills all night.

It's supposed to be a safe place to go as an alternative to A&E in a MH crisis, as well as a kind of a social club.

I can see how that would be helpful, especially if you lived alone.

Ennn · 19/02/2015 21:38

I just go for the groups that are run during the day in the same building, TBH. It's a collaboration between a MH charity (who run the groups), a drug charity (who have a support worker there for out of hours stuff) and the mental health trust, who have a CPN there during out of hours too. I went in once out of hours to find out what it was all about and she called my DP on me, told me to take lots of diazepam and called the home treatment team Hmm Since then I've been in once when I was feeling low and it's lovely to have somewhere to go where I know people will accept me.

Ennn · 19/02/2015 21:40

Yes great for people who live alone, and they're open until midnight.

I think if you're feeling that bad, it would be unreasonable not to see the GP. Could you ring them as soon as they open and ask for an appointment today?

Ennn · 20/02/2015 08:20

Polly are you okay?

It depends on whether you think you'd feel the same if you went onto a different anti depressant.

Ennn · 20/02/2015 09:03

In that case the reassurance from a GP is exactly what is needed.

HA! you don't get out of it that easily Wink

DavidTennantsBeard · 20/02/2015 09:05

Morning all. Chapuys-just go to the GP.
Polly what's up?
Caulk, hope today is better and you have a good session with lovely therapist.
I'm feeling better last couple of days hoping that the increased meds have kicked in. Planning to go back to work on Tuesday. DD in nursery today so nice quiet day then seeing GP this pm. DH has taken DS to see a friend from the unit who has been discharged.
