Everyone is welcome.

OP posts:

Has anyone noticed people using cannabis much more openly in the last couple of years? A couple of guys walked past me as I came home earlier openly smoking a joint - fairly normal residential area, no massive crime problems or anything. Seems to happen quite a lot now. Stingy gets wouldn't share either.

Ennn · 18/02/2015 21:27

Thankyou Millie that's very nice of you to say.

HellinaHandbasket · 18/02/2015 21:28

I'll try and remember to push you towards the gym Ennn.

Ennn · 18/02/2015 21:30

Thanks Helli I'll try not to bite your head off Grin

HellinaHandbasket · 18/02/2015 21:37

I get my head bitten off on a daily basis at work, I won't take it personally!

Ennn · 18/02/2015 21:39

Shock I wouldn't actually bite your head off Sad

You need some nicer colleagues Grin

brightandbreezyNot · 18/02/2015 21:43

Agree with millie, ennn you do write well.

Ennn · 18/02/2015 21:44

Thank you Blush

Millie2013 · 18/02/2015 21:45

Seriously, Ennn, you have a flair, have a think
No cannabis round here (all kippers and curtains, but a bit of a rep for wifey swapping)

Ennn · 18/02/2015 21:45

Unfortunately I have zero self-discipline Grin

Millie2013 · 18/02/2015 21:46

Nor me! Start a blog? And contribute when you have the inclination?

Ennn · 18/02/2015 21:48

DP is doing a fry-up. I can hear sizzling interspersed with "Fuck! Argh" so it should be a good one Grin

Ennn · 18/02/2015 21:49

Hmm maybe Smile

HellinaHandbasket · 18/02/2015 21:51

I need some nicer patients. My colleagues are occasionally odd but generally quite alright.

Ennn · 18/02/2015 21:54

Shock people snap at their doctors? I don't think I've ever done that though I did once when I was 16 tell an extraordinarily arrogant and condescending consultant psych that I could beat him in an IQ test any time he liked, which earned me a narcissism label.

Ennn · 18/02/2015 21:58

At least you don't usually run the risk of actually being bitten, which is probably more than your DP can say.

Ennn · 18/02/2015 22:04

In apple news, the reason Honeycrunch are marketed on their texture is that they taste like old lady.

brightandbreezyNot · 18/02/2015 22:15

At least all are nice on here.

brightandbreezyNot · 18/02/2015 22:16

At least you are,all nice on here

Ennn · 18/02/2015 22:23

Most people are lovely. But people on here especially so Smile

The number of times I've been wandering round some random place with no idea how to get home and been offered lifts by concerned passers-by is kind of cheering - nothing bad has ever happened to me from trusting a member of the public. I was hugged today by the guy who runs tai chi and several people checked to make sure I was okay at my local MH drop-in place. People can be so kind.

Ennn · 18/02/2015 22:27

Not sure why people get concerned. I think I just have one of those faces.

Ennn · 18/02/2015 22:31

Does anyone have any tips on what to say when someone tells you quite upsetting things they believe have happened to them which might not be literally true? An acquaintance of mine often mentions horrible things that have happened to her, some of which are plausible (abuse) and some of which are less so (chloroformed by A&E staff, head and limbs removed and somehow reattached). I usually go for a comment on how distressing that must feel or something but it's a bit hollow.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 18/02/2015 23:08

"Did that actually happen or was it in your imagination" or "that's an interesting story" then move on.
