Hi,
Ive suffered with depression for nearly 2 years and have slowly been getting better (doesnt seem it, but looking back ive come a million miles). The last few days though ive been spiralling downwards fast. Ive just been sat in tears for no apparent reason, and shaking. I cant function properly anymore, and have lost all enthusiasm. Sounds silly, but I was on the FLYlady thread and building back up my motorvation for doing things etc., but its all just gone. I really dont want to go back to where I was... but I really really cant "pick myself up"...

Sorry had to pop off to be sick (huge baby kicking my stomach teamed with a bag of malteasers!)

It's the worst thing for me when i have been feeling my old self for a while but then wake up one day feeling crap. Are you on anti d's? I'm not right now and touch wood am doing ok. I know how hard it is to come so far as it takes so long but the dropping back into a slump can happen so quickly.

Do you think a session on a sunbed may help?

QueenQuootieSpookypieBee · 21/10/2006 12:20

Not ADs, but Diazepam for when im feeling at worst (BFing), but ive run out.

Dont think its SAD Fairy, but ill give it a go Tuesday when @ sports centre

Have you a hectic day planned? If not i would just kick back and chill out. I don;t even get dressed on the days i feel really really rough, but that sort of thing is not for everybody. How old are your kid/s?

QueenQuootieSpookypieBee · 21/10/2006 12:24

not a hectic day at all- just couting the hours until DH gets home. 1 DS, 6 months.

Hi QueenQuootieSpookypieBee, Sory you feel so low. I don't have any advice, but hopefully this may make you laugh.
last night DH was running a bath for dd(4) and DS (14mnths), while I stripped them off in the bedroom. Dh called me to check the bath temp and when I returned to get DS (literally seconds later) he had poo'd everywhere (my fault for removing his nappy). How he managed to get it on his hands and all over his legs in such a short space I will never know but it was a sight I will never forget (and a smell I will never forget as he managed to grind it into the carpet).
I hope this made you smile, and I am really sad to hear you feel so unhappy. Have a big smile from me

Charleesunnysunsun · 21/10/2006 12:27

Hopefully your DH should be able to take LO off your hands for you to chill out when he gets back then.

I on the other hand am not counting the hours for my DP to get back. He brought a car yesterday off a friend that needed some 'simple' work doing on it. He just rung to say it's all gone wrong and he's totally stressed!

Sorry i know my random ramblings have nothing to do with how your feeling but sometimes i find just talking about everyday things takes my mind off feeling rough. please feel free to tell me to sod off!

QueenQuootieSpookypieBee · 21/10/2006 12:33

thanks Mrsaek

DH gets home about 11.30... so not much chance of chilling out

Feel free to ramble

I hope you are okay can you pop to the shops just for no reason just to get out the house untill your dh comes back? it might be better than sitting home alone

QuootieSpookypie · 21/10/2006 13:41

If I could drive/ had money. Not sure boredom is the problem, but its not helping...
