No, the GP saw me for the routine appointment they asked me to make to discuss discharge from A & E, decided I'm completely bonkers and told me to wait in the waiting room while he checked I wasn't lying about having a psychiatrist appointment on Monday and asked the psychiatrist what to do about my drugs Hmm

Enpoid · 11/12/2014 18:43

Poor Mitchy

Back pain is horrendous.

Enpoid · 11/12/2014 18:49

And I didn't manage to get him to discuss anything about the discharge from A&E. I already know I'm bonkers, I just want to know if my kidneys are fucked, too.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 11/12/2014 19:09

I have now eaten all the poppadoms. I shouldn't be left alone in the kitchen. Curry's ready and she's not home. I don't want to have to get foot stampy Smile

SnowyMouse · 11/12/2014 19:09

That sucks big time, Mitchy Sad

That's a shame you couldn't find about about your kidney function, Enpo, and had to wait an hour.

Enpoid · 11/12/2014 19:13

Thanks Snowy.

Mental: what poppadoms? There were no poppadoms. They never existed.

Enpoid · 11/12/2014 19:14

Apparently there was no information from A&E or results of any of the tests they did anyway, so I don't really know what I was called into discuss. I assumed I was going to be kicked off their list.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 11/12/2014 19:15

The lime pickle I bought should more than make up for the kissing poppadoms. She's home now so speak later, I'm off to give my giblets a scalding.

Enpoid · 11/12/2014 19:15

I've just realised he never answered what I asked him about putting all my repeat prescriptions back on repeat either.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 11/12/2014 19:15

Kissing?? I meant missing.

Enpoid · 11/12/2014 19:16

Sounds great. Let's hope you are forgiven. It would take a heart of stone to blame someone for finishing an open packet of poppadoms.

SnowyMouse · 11/12/2014 19:27

Enjoy the curry, mental - Enpo is right, what poppadoms? Grin

That sounds like it wasn't all the helpful, Enpo

Enpoid · 11/12/2014 19:35

No. He just did the "you're talking too much" face and called the psychiatrist Hmm

I've never actually seen that doctor as a patient before but have often accompanied DP to his appointments with the same doc. He always asks after my family and appears to remember details about my life, which is nice, but odd.

Mitchy1nge · 11/12/2014 20:44

that sounds very ill mannered of him Hmm

thanks snowy, am gratefully lapping up all sympathy. Back pain of this sort of magnitude is new to me (though have been whingeing about general achiness for a while)

watching spike Milligan thing on iplayer, with a cat and a spaniel on me in a loving but uncomfortable way

OP posts:
Enpoid · 11/12/2014 23:45

No he's a lovely guy but I don't appreciate being repeatedly told I've "gone completely manic" when I know I'm only slightly up and STILL not being able to order anything on repeat or even know why they've just completely removed all my repeat scripts Hmm

Enpoid · 11/12/2014 23:46

I've never really experienced that sort of back pain; sounds unbearable

Enpoid · 11/12/2014 23:51

What kind of spaniel?

Enpoid · 12/12/2014 00:07

I have a book signed by Spike Milligan. I can't remember what it says though.

Enpoid · 12/12/2014 00:13

Not upset as such but a) world's least tactful GP or what - it would almost be a worse thing to say to someone if they really WERE

and b) this is going to mess up my phenelzine titration - I'm supposed to be increase the dose to
Achieve as much Mao inhibition as necessary which is an uphill task with doctors who seemed to be happy to leave me on the starting dose bt now I apparently have to reduce to 30mg a day Hmm whih won't achieve what they want to achieve and risks the depression coming back. Bloody hell. Instead of commenting on HOW I speak perhaps people could notice WHAT I'm saying

Enpoid · 12/12/2014 00:16

Ah FFS typo city. Have temporarily gone back to ipod after phone battery died. Turns out streaming deezer over the data connection while using GPS tracking is REALLY thirsty.

Enpoid · 12/12/2014 00:26

Also STILL have no answer on whether they're planning on removing me from their list.

Enpoid · 12/12/2014 01:12

Holy shit, have just worked out tranylcypromine costs £7.50 a tablet. Phenelzine is closer to 20p. Like five and a half grand a year Shock That's the same ballpark as the Lamictal I used to be on before it came off patent.

Enpoid · 12/12/2014 09:28

I had a welsh springer spaniel for a couple of weeks as a kid during the great "mum buys a pedigree dog " experiment. Lovely animal. Thick as shit.

Enpoid · 12/12/2014 09:50

HOLY JESUS FUCK I PUT ON 5.5lb THIS WEEK HOW IN FUCK

Mitchy1nge · 12/12/2014 10:04

English springer, liver and white, love the welsh ones too

tramadol is not my friend :( vomited three times (maybe should not have started with quite so much? But is a stupid dirty drug anyway)
