Epno, MH people aren't dangerous to you. People who've just had a whopping high and are crashing down, however are massively dangerous to themselves.

Stop typing on here and work with your DH to get some proper help. I'd rather you wound up in hospital than dead.

You're going to end up getting deleted anyway. Even before the changes on here talking of methods when folk were ill were never left to stand. You need to get back into real life, chuck, and work with Crisis and your DH.

Unaccountably still alive and forced into local MH unit. No section but told I WILL be if I don't comply. Sick with fear and anger at self for honesty.

If they got me here by telling me that if I didn't come voluntarily they would definitely section me, will they section me if I try to leave? Even if it's just to buy food? I haven't eaten since the night before last.

Epno, They'll probably keep you in under a section 5.2 Which is where they can hold you for 72 hours or until they do a MH assessment. Its quite possible that they'd put you on a 2 or 3 after that, so much better to stay voluntarily. I'm talking from experience here as its what happened to me.

Can your DH or a friend bring you in food?

I feel for you, I really do, but you were so suicidal that I'm glad that they're taking care of you.
