Recently discovered OMAD (one meal a day)
just wondering what are people’s experiences on it and do you recommend it?
I’ve got over 200lb to lose.

I’ve been OMAD for almost a year now…works for me and my lifestyle (full disclosure, I’m on Mounjaro).

I did it last year but over the winter started adding in a lunch most days which saw the weight loss stop. But before that when I was sticking rigidly to omad it was great for losing weight. I'm actually going full on back on it from tomorrow. It's hardest for the first few days but then you do get used to it and are not constantly hungry. I drink lots of black coffee with no sugar, water and sugar free squash throughout the day. Also I have a few mugs of mint tea in the evening after dinner. You do have to be motivated and disciplined but it works if you can be! Obviously make your one meal as nutritious as possible and take some supplements maybe to cover all nutritional bases. Good luck!

For those on OMAD - how do you manage your protein? Research seems to be telling me I should be on 90-110g of protein a day which seems very challenging on OMAD.
