Exercise whilst fasting

I have been eating during a reduced window and exercising throughout the day, and I have been fine with that, no real trouble with energy or hunger. But I am considering trying some longer fasts, and I would like to know a little more about others' experiences.

My current regime goes like this:
Weekdays: Coffee for BF, brisk walk to work 2km flat, swim or indoor run/gym (quite hard) at lunch, eat meat cheese and fruit at around 13:00, walk home and do the 11 flights of stairs, dinner at 6pm.

I am planning to try some longer fasts starting with 24 hours or 36 hours and seeing how that feels. Would it be OK to maintain this level of activity during these periods?

Hi there! I'm a massive fasting fan and my meals mostly consist of eating between 2-6pm everyday, whilst I'm losing weight. I exercise in the morning in a fasted state.

One thing to consier, is carrying on doing the exercise but eating a little before the gym/swim exercise, so you're fueled. And see how it goes. If you feel ok, then do the 11 flights of stairs in the evening (or do 5?). Then if you feel ok, next time you do 24 hour fast, do the gym exercise in a fasted state and see how you go.

Everyone responds differently, so work your way up to it slowly and listen to your body.

@mamabeeboo Hi, thanks for replying. I have been on one meal per day since Tuesday, and actually I feel like I am coping well no problem with energy.
I get very hungry at about 3pm, but it passes and I can manage to hold on until dinner time.
I am going to keep going until Friday dinner and start again next week.

Try finding elevator stairs at your gym, they improve the heartrate alot faster than walking.
