For me these have definitely helped:
- weighing myself daily, even taking scales on holiday if away for more than 4 days - Great accountability, and when I stop weighing myself it's a sign that I am eating too indulgently
- having "safe foods" which I can eat lots of on celebratory days like Christmas or holidays - things like olives, radishes, cherry tomatoes, cornichons - and at Christmas, even tangerines and physallis
- Gin Stephen's motto - Delay Don't Deny - really helps me
- Shorter eating windows for a few days if the scales go up
- Posting on here, reading threads, reminding myself I can do it
- A handful of post-its up on the bathroom mirror, including "I can do hard things"
And of course, they don't always work - my weight has been known to leap up by half a stone in a couple of weeks - but with IF I find it easier to get back to eating well, much faster and more easily
What's helped you?
