Fasting / 5:2 diet

What are your favourite fast day staple foods/ snacks?

I’ll start Konjac noodles (18cal), mug of miso soup with a couple of drops of hot sauce in (negligible).

Love konjac noodles - often with bag of mussels in their own liquor (I buy frozen) with a dash of soy and sprinkle of coriander

Also a big hard-boiled egg fan - either with two anchovies or chopped with capers and tomatoes.

And raspberries or strawberries when in season - seriously yummy and low cal. As is a plate of sliced cucumber lightly salted.

And actually every day - 85% choc with a few nuts ... ranges from less than half a square with a couple of almonds for 30/40 cals ... to more if I have more!!!

Yes I love 85/90 choc. One square really does the trick. I find it much harder to eat only one square of milk chocolate.

Bit of an old thread, but can i ask what are konjac noodles?

Looking for ideas as well, before I start the process.

They're noodles made from seaweed - about 12 calories in a portion. Not delicious but great for the gut and weightless
