Intermittent fasting

I'm looking for advice as to how to implement intermittent fasting into my routine. The schedules I've looked at are eating 11-12pm to 7-8pm and fasting for 16 hours in between. The problem is that I have young children (5 and 2) so in the morning I find it exhausting to do the school run on an empty stomach lugging a heavy 2 year old with me. I had also thought about having early dinners so finishing eating at 5pm or there abouts but the problem is at least 2 days a week because of work I don't get home time after 6pm so don't finish eating dinner until 7.30ish. Can anyone help me figure out the best way to move forward?

You can change the times each day (I use an app to keep track of this). I just aim for a minimum of 16 hours.
If you can tolerate not being 100% in a morning for a couple of weeks it gets easier. It's just the adjusting that's hard.
I (and lots of others) allow tea in the fasting window in order to tollerate/continue long term. Reduced benefit but better than not doing it.
I aim to eat my evening meal by 530pm but if we're later I just adjust the following days eating schedule.
