Ugh. I did SO WELL the first 6-7 months of 2024. Lost near on 7-8Kg. Down to BMI of 21. Gradually been creeping up since august.

I am very physically active (I run 35-40k a week, hill runs). So exercise isn't the answer.
I fast (16:8 6 days a week). So that's not the answer.
The problem is I eat shed loads when I eat. Running makes me starving (I am not stopping running! It keeps mentally well).

So I need tips and techniques for managing what I'm putting in my body. Namely- how to reduce portion size, good low calories food to fill up on, how to stop eating (lol). I basically feel like I constantly need to eat once I stop the fasting period.

I am peri menopause. Have endometriosis and a very big bloated stomach and a slow metabolism. So that's in the mix.

Help!

Unfortunately, not been female or a doctor I can’t relate to your medical issues or how they affect you. But I can relate to binge eat (we can all relate to that problem)
First off I would try drinking water 20 minutes before, then immediately before every meal this will help you feel full quicker then eat slowly a slow as you can this should theoretically give the ‘I’m full’ message to go from your stomach to your brain before you have finished your meal, also if the meal is hot and your like me (I hate eating hot food when it’s gone cold) this hopefully will help deter over eating.
Another exercise I find useful either to prevent snacking between meals or going back for seconds. Next time you feel hungry drink a glass of water then waits 10 minutes, if you still feel hungry have something to eat. The second time you feel hungry repeat the exercise but wait 12 minutes before eating. I used this exercise to completely stop snacking between meals.
Portion size is simple buy a smaller plate LOL. I don’t want to use the term ‘High protein low carb diet’ but I would look at both increasing your protein and reducing carbs to very little.
I would be interested to know more about the fasting and what your eating when you do eat.
