I am doing ADF at the moment. It's working but obvs it's hard keep the hunger pangs at bay on the fasting days.
I find ice helps me - think crunching ice cubes or freezer pops (which come in somewhere between 10 and 14 cals, which I can live with).
But supermarket freezer pops have all sorts of horrible stuff in them.
I have a set of lolly moulds and could make my own version.
Does anyone know a good recipe to get at least a tiny bit of flavour and not rock solid like an ice cube? If I was making granita the sugar (and possibly alcohol if I was putting vodka in) would stop it from freezing solid. So what is the substitute for sugar and alcohol? Is there such a thing? TIA?
PS Does anyone else crunch ice as a diet aid - or is it just me?
