What do you eat on a typical fasting day?

If you are doing 5:2 what do you eat on your fasting days?
I need to lose a few stone. 5:2 seems like it will work best for me. (Maybe the old style 500 calories or maybe the newer 800, I have both Michael Mosley books on reserve from the library) I have seen plenty of delicious looking recipes but in reality I need something fuss free. I am thinking along the lines of boiled egg or yogurt at breakfast, soup at lunch, easy something in the evening probably tweaked from the family meal. Breakfast and lunch in particular I don't want to have to think about.

Looking through the thread I couldn't see anything that might have covered this already. Sorry if there is a really obvious thread here already.
Thanks all.

If there are two threads with the same title it is because I am technologically challenged and thought I had failed to post this one. I have asked for the other thread to be taken down. Sorry.

I've changed a few things over the years. But I tend to eat a calorie controlled ready meal once a day. Then either extra vegetables (microwaved), cauliflower rice. Or salad leaves and cauliflower rice of microwaved cauliflower florets.

Then, fruit if allowance allows!

That's 500 a day.

And that's an early evening meal. Nothing else

Tend to have black coffee and fruit teas to drink or water.
As late lunch as possible around 1 or 2 something like mushrooms and poached egg on small slice of sourdough or
Soup
Small brown roll with thin sliced cold meat.
Dinner is whatever the family is having smaller portion no carbs so bowl of chilli or chicken curry but with some veg.
Chicken or salmon and lots of salad.
Crumpet for supper if desperate with a tiny bit of marg.

So I did have a boiled egg and a ryvita this morning at 11ish, and a burger with a load of vegetables is what I have planned for this evening, (once I have finished ferrying children to clubs and classes). Feeling quite hungry but I am hoping that using most of the calories on good quality protein will help with that a bit.

I have started this only last week. but I found very effective meal. 2 eggs 150 cal and half rye bread 60 cal with lots of veg stir fried or salad around 30 cal. with around 5 g of butter 30 call. 270 calories.

same at night but one egg and coffee with coffee mate twice. and some low cal soup. Total around 570 calories.

I feel tofu /chicken + rice congee is all excellent filling and satisfying meal. and very quick to make. May be oatmeal would be even more satisfying I havent tried it tho.
