Has anyone read Dr Mindy Pelz book 'Fast like a girl'?

I've just finished reading it and I'm about to the start the 30 day reset. I'd love some fasting buddies to fast along with me.

Anyone using this style of eating?

I did 10 days but have given up, I lost no weight at all on it, despite not eating for 24 hours then eating a bowl of porridge and blue berries and then going straight into a 17 hour fast (as instructed). I found it pretty disappointing 😭

It works for me! I really like it. I do struggle a bit in the progesterone phase of my HRT but shortening my window etc is very successful, and I avoiding falling into a vat of carbs pre period. I maintain my weight doing this.

I'm just reading it. I have dated on and off while doing keto since 2017 and find it suits me not just weight loss but mental clarity and all the other health benefits.

I haven't read the book but was thinking about buying it. Do I need to tho? Basically do longer fasts in the first half of your cycle, right?

No it isn't that simple it dives deep into different foods that feed the different stages of the cycle. How to bake hormones different length fasts in I think for different stages. I read the book in 4 days and enjoyed it.
