How does it work and what's the best one to do?

I thought fasting was not eating but researching people still eat??

My plan was 2 days without food at all- just water. Will this work does anyone know.

I need to lose as much as possible before a last minute wedding at the beginning of June and have tried most diets in the past not fasting though.

Thank you.

Have you tried Fast800? There is a book that explains it all.

On your fast days you need to eat 800 calories. Rest of the time eat a Mediterranean diet. Fast800 website and books are great. Make a lot of recipes from them.

Don't not eat- it will make your body store every scrap of food it can as it will go into starvation mode. Also lowers your metabolism too- so very counter productive.

I follow the 5:2 model with no food and just water and black tea on my two fasting days. It works very well for me and I've lost plenty on it. You must just make sure to eat properly on the five "feeding" days though (by which I mean to eat a nourishing diet without a calorie excess or a deficit).

Does anyone know anything about 12:12 ?
